Ms Al Kooheji’s decision to co-write it with Ms Al Asfoor gave a welcome and insightful balance to the book that isn’t common among others in this genre.
Hear Us Out is a very honest take on the challenges of today’s workforce from both sides of the equation and addresses very succinctly the issues that have arisen from integrating the two generations.
I highly recommend all professionals to pick up a copy of this book - if you are generation X then you will gain better understanding and perhaps learn new approaches to achieving excellent productivity from your young employees.
Equally for generation Y, understanding the mindset of your superiors and why their approach is different to yours will help you succeed in your chosen career.
Sometimes to move forward we must look back and learn a little.
Ultimately I feel this book will help the two generations establish common ground and a profound mutual understanding that will positively impact careers and businesses in the future.
